Our New Office

We've moved into our own space at the historic Kalamazoo Building, right next door to The Exchange.

There comes a time in the life of a small business when you realize that it’s real…like really real.

It happened for me when I moved from a month-to-month shared office to a more permanent office space, which required me to sign a longer-term lease and solve problems that you just don’t need to worry about in a coworking situation (like finding my own internet service provider).

There was an unexpected benefit to this: I now have even more empathy for my clients who are going through the moving process. I’ve moved before, but I was never the sole person responsible for all the details. It was a lot of work, but now we’re where we want to be.

We’re happy, though, because we have more space than before and it’s all ours. The plan is to make it a place where people can come visit us, whether it’s an event, a planned meeting, or an impromptu gathering on a Friday afternoon when we are all checking out early.

We love it because it’s an historic building with character: the Kalamazoo Building, Kalamazoo’s first skyscraper. We have a corner office on the eighth floor with views of downtown, including the Kalamazoo Mall (if we lean out the window far enough).

It’s a wonderful spot, and we can’t wait to see you here.
